“Bring colour at the office, that was my dream!”

When I worked in a corporate environment myself, I found it hard to find colourful clothing suitable for work. More formal clothing, with the comfort of wanting to wear it all day.

I like basic designs, with striking colours and patterns: basics with a twist. When that was in fashion, and the stores were filled with it, I was very happy and I bought a complete wardrobe. However, next season a total different style was in fashion which made my perfect style hard to find.

I decided to design and make my own ‘colourful basics with a twist’. Formal enough for the office, festive enough for dinner or drinks and casual and comfortable enough to wear in the weekends. Clothing that you want to wear all day.

The people around me were so enthusiastic about my designs that I decided to quit my job and start my own fashion label – Marjolein Elisabeth. With as important principle a responsible business, and respect for the environment.

The brand

At work, outdoor for lunch, afterwork drinks and at night dinner with friends. Marjolein Elisabeth designes clothing for the ordinary woman who wants to feel the best version of herself every moment of the day.

The collection exists of fixed models – skirts, dresses, pants and tops – that are always available, during the year in different colours and fabrics. So that you can buy that favourite skirt or dress again.

The syle is known by timeless designs in striking colours and patterns: basics with a twist. Comfortable and with a delicate female fit. Made under fair circumstances in Europa and from fair and high quality fabrics, if possible organic.
